Well, after careful consideration, I think my bike might qualify for this resto-mod thread.
my '83 features Astralite wheels, Spondon/Kosman brakes, Fox piggyback shocks, etc, etc, etc. Also waiting for installation is a set of '89 GSXR forks. Still working out the details on retaining my wheels and brakes.
thanks for letting me share. Paul

Love that paint job but gotta say not a fan of how the seat looks. I am sure it's comfy though.Silhouette at Sunset with Monadnock in the distance.

Thx Steve, hard to believe that seat has over 100K miles on it. If I were nit picking I'd point out that the hump where it transitions to the tail is too high which leaves the seam visible.
I do have a NOS replacement stock seat which has never been used. Suzuki provided the replacement when the original split at 10K. That's all NOS GSX1100 body work which has never seen the road.
The Gunfighter is hard but very comfortable. Sargent makes a nice seat as well although I've had some issues with their pan's cracking on the FZ1 (I'm on my third),Comment

Here is the first Non-GS Resto-Mod in the thread that I have seen. I have drooled over each of your bikes at one time or another. They are all special. Keeping in the Suzuki family, my GT750 project began around 2000 and went through several evolutions (and I think I am still not done). Some of you may have seen my bike in the "other projects" section. It is honestly one of the most satisfying motorcycles that I have ever ridden. But it really is just a toy. Anyway, keep Resto-Mod'n and have fun, these babies are ALL one-of-a-kinds!

Sean, you can post pics of bad buffalo all day. I wouldn't mind
. As a side note, I was on the wifes pinterest account the other day, and a search of Suzuki GT turned up several pics of your bike....
