1983 GS1100 GK cafe project video

I made a quick 30 second video showing the transformation of my 1983 gs1100 gk. This was an extremely easy project. I still need to get my seat reupholstered but otherwise the project is about done. Let me know if you guys have any ideas to improve the look of the bike.

Was thinking about getting the same rear shock set up. How do they perform? Now let's here her run

Shocks seem to work ok...probably better if I wasn't 240lbs!! They were about $100 on ebay.

I put those same shocks on my 1000 and I got what I paid for , I am 300lbs and they are so stiff I don't actually know if the shock works as I can not compress them.. I am going to get a set of Progressives and be done with it.

Not exactly my style of bike, but I will be happy to admit ... very nicely done.

This is exactly what I want to do on my gs1000g! I would really appreciate your advice on some ideas I cant seem to materialize.

I'll tell you anything you want to know about. This was a very simple project if you can do some basic welding. Like I said I only put about $400 in parts and used the factory seat pan, frame, and rear

                          project

I don't know where to get shorter cables for changing to a drag style bar for one.
