New nubs for the back of the side covers?

I got a 83 750e and it came with both side covers but all the nubby holder things on the back of covers are broken off. Does anyone sells like replacement ones i could epoxy on?

There are many posts in the archives about folks making their own with slurry; otherwise no, no one sells anything per se

That is an excellent idea, well done! Good use of modern technology to solve an "old" problem!

              Good find, Wing.

Just need to verify the proper location on the side cover, shape the end to match the angle of the cover, then slurry it in place.

In most cases the stud breaks off with a good size island of plastic below it. If you have enough meat where the studs broke off, you can drill and screw in a pan head screw roughly the length needed. The screw really adds strength to the stud. Then use JB Weld Plastic Weld putty to form the shape of the stud as needed.

J-B Weld epoxies and adhesives create the world's strongest bond for your repair job, allowing you to be your strongest self.

I can see many uses for that Plastifix. So far my method has been reliable on posts but I can see how the Plastifix could be used to do various other repairs. Thanks for sharing.

Here's what I do. It works fine.

Are you doing a restoration project of some kind on a GS? Let everyone see what you are doing by posting the details here.
