    My motto is:

Why encourage someone like this to spend a bunch of money?

My moto is...if you want a faster bike get something modern. A new set of RS36's w/K&N filters cost more than most 1100G's are worth.

During my automotive drag racing days, it was "If you're not breaking things, you're not racing hard enough."

nah! - modern is for kids who _think_ they're fast

if i counted the cost or rebuilding an early 80's muscle bike it would still be rotting in someones garden.... have i done it once, nope. have i done it twice..... nope. unless you're an investor these aren't the best things to buy anyway.... if you're in it for the grin factor and to feel what proper power feels like then hand over that credit card 'cos the more ya spend the larger you'll grin..... guarenteed!
