Problems with Carb jetting
I recently purchased a 1982 gs 1100ez. It has a vanz and hinz 4 into 1 with a stock airbox. it has 114 main jets at the moment. its backfiring on deacceleration and has a dead spot in acceleration up to about 60 mph. any ideas on what to do to this? I did not tear down the carbs, they are very clean in the bowls.Tags: None -

So you have a DJ kit installed? The 114 is a Dynojet number.
Get rid of that 114 and install a 120 mikuni. Put the DJ needle on the third from the bottom. -
