    Is your ignition any good?
Any ideas after I check the battery in the morning? Maybe I could walk it to your house so you can pin point it in a few seconds, its pretty flat except the grape vine area but I think I can handle the push

The Grapevine only peaks at 4k feet at Fort Tejon. Good luck.

And yes a bowl full of gas comes out of each one.

I just don't get why it ran a few days ago and now won't. It has to be the carbs right?
It does sound like a fuel problem but I always, I mean always install new plugs when there's any kind of problem just to be sure. Especially a fuel or jetting problem.
They're like 2 bux(1.69) I'd change em if I were you. BUy extras while you're there and keep em in your toolbox. You'll need em.

My 850 wouldnt even start with no airbox till I re-jetted it.

        Keep us posted!!

Am I correct that you had a fire, as in the bike was burning? If so how did you extinguish it? Perhaps the residue is causing a problem.
My GS550 would barely run before the rejet, very hard to start. After cranking pull a plug and see if it's wet or dry. If it's dry try taping up the pods to limit the air going thru them. That should help pull the air/fuel thru the carbs.

How did you bench-synch the carbs without touching the idle screw?

If you stripped and dipped the carbs, you need to bench synch them and then vacuum synch them once the bike is idling.

You might have throttle slides that are too tight or too out of synch.

When I rebuilt my carbs, I had a few struggles with bench synching and getting the idle screw in a good range.

I extingushed it with a fire exting. and then washed it down with a hose so the wires were all clean. I checked the wires that were exposed and no damage was done to them just the plastic cover which I re wraped. And started the bike back up. The plugs are dry so I will try that.

I did touch the idle screw to bench synch, once the bike started I then adjusted it to 1200 rpm with the choke off and began to adjust my air screws, this is when the fire happend.

Synching the carbs by adjusting the air screws may be the root of your problem.

I moved them back to where I started with them before the fire. 2 turns out.
Now I'm at the DMV for this bike since they screwed the paperwork up on it and are registering it as a non op. This is a slap in the face.

All in all I have set everything back on the bike to how it was when it started.

Tried to start this morning before heading down to my friends house for the weekend.
                        NOTHING.

Theres the update. Battery stayed at about 11.7 volts when cranking.

Tried to start it 5 min off the charger. Was reading 13 volts or close to, I have an analog meter. After trying to start it and letting it sit for 30 min after I got ready I checked it and it was hovering around 12.5 +-

That isn't a battery, that is a paper weight. You need a new one.
