Ok, a second post on a Carb

I have a GS1100G. I don't want to mess up the carbs. How do you get to the air/fuel screw. Mine is capped. Do I drill it out or what?

I'm asleep. My chemistry and calculus classes are getting to me. Sorry for duplicate posts, but didn't see it. Again my apologies to the forum.

Ok, now I know why I posted again. What the heck. Why is my original post in the wanted section? I didn't post there.

          Mike

I use a small nail and hammer and tap the cap dead center. This will typically distort it enough to pry it out

Other people drill a small hole (watch the depth) and screw in a screw and yank it out

Remember, there's a brass screw with a slot in it under there, don't drill too deep.
