Does anyone know why some gs450 carbs 1985 onwards do not have air mixture screws?

Hi babes, Im not familiar with that model but i know sometimes on U.S. models they were hidden under a small metal cap that can be drilled out to access the screw.
    Hope that helps some.
    Good luck.

Thanks, there is what looks like blank cap on the top, must have done that so you can't tamper with it.

Correct. In the U.S. they were pre-set and covered to conform with emissions and disallow adjustment. Drill a small hole in the center of the cap, screw a small screw into it just a bit, and then pull the cap out. Toss it; you will never need it again. The air/fuel mixture screw will now be accessible.

            Job done!
The pilot screw covers came out fairly easy, grateful for your advice.
