gs 550 - removing the carbs..how to guide?

Hi,

My Carbs on my GS 550 need a clean.

I can't seem to remove the - the airbox is very tight, I am sure I found some how to guides on here?

Remove the screws holding on the airbox and shove it back as far as possible (about 3/4"). Remove the clamps securing the carbs to the boots on both sides. Grab carbs and lever them out.

Removing the carbs is MUCH easier than trying to reinstall them.

You aren't kidding there. Getting them back on my 450 was quite the job.

If you remove the inner fender it makes the job even easier.
