    header #2 very hot

I finally have my 81 gs 1100 gl starting and running really good. I noticed today after starting and idleing for only a few minutes that the # 2 header would burn the skin off my fingers but i could touch the very warm but not burning hot # 1. Is this normal or am i headed for more problems? Thanks for any help, tom

Have you adjusted your pilot screw and observed what that does? In most cases a very hot exhaust header means its running lean on that cylinder. Maybe turn the screw out a quarter or half turn and see how the bike runs
