    where is a good place to get a choke lever and cable for an 83 gs850g. I bought this bike with a few thing missing and this seems to be important.

      what has that got to do with gas in your crankcase?

        I think the owners manual says to top it off.
        My bike will likely sit idle for 4 months- I add stabil on last few rides , run to 1/4 tank. In spring, I'm able to add fresh gas, offer sacrifices and hope that my carbs have enjoyed their rest. Removing my tank is a personal preference.
