Yeah, I forgot one when I went to work, when I came back a month later it was fine. -
My standard is a full 24 hrs..never had a redo either.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.Comment

Cool! Thanks guys.. They are sitting in some dip now. Also i know this is a bit off topic but i number the carbs a few months ago and they came off. How important is it to have them in order? I know the order of 3 and 4 but 1 and 2 i mixed up and can tell what is what..Comment

the No.1 carb does not have a nipple on it for a vacuum or breather pipe like the other 3 have, and the fuel transfer gallery is blocked off on the l/h side1978 GS1085.
