Exhaust header, exhaust pipe, etc. While they seldom go bad, it is a remote possibility. If you are making an on-line purchase any way, it would not hurt to add them to the order.

Eventually I'll replace my V&H with an identical, but brand new one. One of the few jobs I can handle myself. At that time I'll replace those gaskets.

I was told they are four separate, copper gaskets. True?
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

        Yeppers. Crush type copper O-rings.

High or hanging idle is usually on the intake side. Lean.
