    New carb boots question

So I installed a new set of boots on my gs850 head. The issue is the carbs don't quite line up, the 2 and 3 carb are a tight fit, the new boots seem to be set further outboard. They are installed with the vaccume ports facing down. Is this correct?

If they don't fit they are the wrong part unless you put them on backwards.

Yup, looked at the bags and seller had them missed labled. Swapped them around and all is well, old eyes missed the little L and R. Thanks for the help.
