    1979 GS 850G VM26-SS carb choke e-ring ?

    Hi all,


    I recently was cleaning the carbs of my gs850g (1979 model with VM26-ss carbs).

    The e-clip style retainer clip that holds the choke actuator on the individual carburetor snapped in half when being removed.

    what is the e-ring size on this ?

    Does anyone know of a good source for this e-clip ?

    Ive been hunting around hardware stores including fastenall but have not found anything.

      I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

              McMaster-Carr has metric e-rings.

              I think I have a bag containing 99 of these somewhere...
              1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
