Who has used the Dyno Jet kits?

I am leaning toward replacing or building the exhaust on my GS100GL as well as putting some pod filters on it for a cleaner look. Has anybody here used a Dyno Jet kit and can speak to how well it worked out?

They're in my bike. Expensive, but worth it. Quicker and easier. Performance is perfect - good luck achieving that with another brand.
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I've used them one 3 or 4 bikes. I think it would be a pain to try to dial in without one if going to pods. You could probably spend as much on buying other bits to trial & error it...

If you keep the stock airbox you don't need to go to a DJ kit in my experience (even with a K&N inbox).

Good news from both. Thank you!

I'm about as poor as anybody else here could be, but my time is worth money too, and I will spend money to save time. I am far from being a carburetor expert, so that's another reason to spend money/save time. Anything that makes this job easier is money well spent.

If you are going the pod route don't buy the cheapest brand.
Two brands that have good reviews on this site are K&N and APE.

My APEs look and perform almost identical to K&N, and cost half as much.
