    Tscu bypass

I searched and found a thread from at least 10 years ago about using the 4 pin connector and two relays to bypass the ESCU and restore manual opraton only. Trouble is the attached pics in post 21 here are no longer available. So my question is has anyone saved that info. Or can someone tell me what two wires go to the left signal and obviously the other two will operate the right signal

What im looking for is the wiring information about using the 4 pin connector and just adding two 2 pin flasher relays to make signals work. What i need to know is what color wires go the left side and what colors go to the right. Someone posted that fix way back when there was all this optomistic chatter about producing a reliable unit.

I guess you could probably trace it with a meter by measuring what pins are getting power when you press the switch... as the lamps themselves are grounded elsewhere I think that's all you need isn't it? Power for each side from the switch to go to the relay.

          Damn you photobucket...

Well... I guess that would identify the two hot leads going into the flasher. Then its a matter of which wire feeds voltage to which side correct??

So yesterday i got all 4 turn signals working. Shut it sown because t was 93 degrees and headed home. Went today to resume things and only the left will flash. Cleaned and lubed the switch..no change. Unplugged both terminals from the TSCU to scrub the pins a bit...no change. So JUST SETTING overnight this pile of suzuki excriment has failed. Even tapped on it with a wrench and notta damned thing.
For the love of god someone develope a unit that will last 25 years!!!!!!!

Have you seen this thread :

For less than $100.00 you can replace the original TSCU, turn signal control unit with a modern self canceling turn signal control unit made by SDC, Signal Dynamics part # 01501. I've seen others in this forum, over the years, attempt to do so, that's if you have a degree in electronics engineering. This will ONLY work with the

I looked for that and found this :

                Maybe worth looking into.

If you know some basic electrical... the control unit is replaced with two latching relays and two diodes. You lose the timer, but the cancel works. I probably have a wiring diagram for it if you want, total cost about $7

                    BITZZ...
I sent you a PM with my email address where a diagram can be sent. Self cancelling is not an issue or necessary , Just need trouble free working signals.
