I am determined to get the bike running now. Haven't ridden one in a long time but the interest is back. Funny thing is that the wift didn't complain (much) when I told her about this one. It is not so much the ride but the challenge of repairing it that is the fun part. Now it is game on.... -

@tas850...Tas, I would like to take you up on your offer to cross reference the OEM part number of my ignitor: 32900-47020 (1918 gs450s). I am in the process of testing the ignitor now, but want to have an idea of how much it would cost to replace in the event it is faulty.Comment

are you sure your bike is a 650? that part # for the Igniter crosses to the larger GS's 750's, 850's,1000's, and 1100's. If you are sure it is a 650 it is something someone installed, because it isn't for a 650.Comment

I'm pretty sure it's a 650. Where would the engine displacement be marked? the title shows "650" but this might explain why it does not run. Hmmmmmmmm?Comment
