I just disconnected the two Block connectors in the loom just between the two ignition coils under the tank. I notice now that there are some loose pushfit leads on each loom that are also disconnected. Is that normal? Or have I unplugged something else? Obviously it'll be obvious later but it'd be nice to not have to re assemble the bike to find out lol

Not sure what you mean by pushfit, crimp on style connectors? Do you have any pictures of the wiring in question? I would recommend checking basscliffs website and see if there is a wiring diagram or manual available there. That would go a long way to setting the wiring aright. -
