No issue with the plugs; we are done. Idle will have to be fiddled with. All covered before, just thought I would mention it again.

Just dial the idle down a bit and let it go at stop lights / signs. If it dies, there is a button under your right thumb...
In this phase, it is important to know how it runs under real world conditions. If it dies, even once, then O.K., you are not there yet and just make it home to adjust a bit more. Otherwise, "Don't worry about it" (in my absolute worst Mafia voice).
And congrats for making it to work on the bike. Just sayin'.

So I rode it to work this morning, ran good all the way, but I didn't let her stall out, as I kept on the throttle most of the time, and only hit one stop light. As I pulled into the parking area and stopped all was good other than a high idle, at around 2000 rpms, so I reached down and tried to lower it, but it's bloody hot, however I was able to get her down just below 1500.

didn't have much time to fiddle more, so I turned her off, and off to work I go.....

Lets see what happens at lunch time when I go home to eat, if I get a chance, you want me to pull the plugs, it will be 1 and 4 as they are the easy ones to get to...?

I will also see if the idle settles down once I get home as well after the ride there...

Absolutely. Remember, it is only the idle circuit we are tuning, nothing else. The jetting (mains, needles) are not affected by this tuning. Most of your trip will be on the needle because that is the way CV carbs work.
If it feels like it is going to die out when you go to stop, use the right wrist. You will not know until you ride it anyway.
At any rate, I would ride it.

It sounds pretty solid at idle. I can't vouch for any other speed.

With that said, if it were me I would take it.

You've almost got it. I can feel it in my bones.

So with that,,,,,maybe I can take it to work in the morning then....you all think it will make it there and back.....I am running out of cars for everyone, and if I use the bike it will be easier....

my only concern is I have not taken it out on the road, so I am uncertain....

what do you guys think ?

at least I will be able to test it out somewhat....

Sounds really good, nice and smooth. Most excellent.
I jump every time I see your speedometer. 240 mph! Is that a Busa? Then I remember it is in km/h. LOL.
Don't bother to pull the plugs again. We needed to know it was running rich, and those plugs confirmed it.
    So close, so close.

here is a clip of the bike as she is setup in the last post

right now as said, I have her starting, running, idling, screws at 1.75 turn out, going by 1/4 quarter increments now, and I just have to go for a run, and pull the plugs once again to see how they look..

Folks, I just finished doing this to my GPz last week. Here is what happened for me: I tuned it on the kickstand until it behaved correctly (using the procedure I wrote). I took it for a test ride. It died at stop signs, indicating a rich condition. I went back home, turned them in 1/4 turn (even though it did not run correctly before at that setting). Went for a test ride, it was better but not perfect. Kept this up until it ran just dandy. It was leaner than it was when I was tuning on the kickstand. I suspect, but cannot confirm, that it was due to the fact that the tuning was not under real world conditions.
I just rode it all the way across town and back, on city streets, lots of stop signs and stop lights. Perfect. I cannot be more pleased. It will work, GK, you just need a bit more patience. You are almost there. I did have to adjust the idle speed using the center screw once everything was sorted out.

maybe I am doing something wrong ? now that would be cool

    I re-read post #22.

It sounds like the bike was dying in neutral, as well when you are in first with the clutch pulled in. That pretty much discounts a dragging clutch...
