Most likely the ground on one of the indicators. They should be grounded via a big washer like ring that mounts on the bolt for them, so make sure that has a good connection.

Mine's doing something similar occasionally at the moment where the right will flash a few times then stay on... I need to check the grounds out as well...

Well, in my haste to assume the problem was going to be a PITA, caused by the old R/R overcharging my system, I kind of overlooked the obvious.
I could see filaments that looked ok, through the lenses, but never actually popped the lenses and checked the bulbs.

After cleaning all ground connections for the right signals, and still having no signals, I figured I should actually check the bulbs...well, what do ya know...both were blown on the right side. LOL. So, that was an easy fix!

Then, of course, if it isn't one thing, it's another. After riding around some more, the same day, the tach cable came loose, and apparently all the guts fell out. Luckily, I ran into a guy here in town that said he should have one from another GS that should work. Now I just gotta find him again, and see if I can get a hold of it soon.

Finally got around to doing the stator swap today, for the new ElectroSport one.

        Here's the old, nasty-looking stator:

        Here's the new one installed:

And once it was all put back together, got the new emblem on the magneto cover. Now both sides match! lol

Definitely! I'm just ready for more riding, and less (needed) progress! LOL. I finally caught up with the guy I mentioned in the earlier post, and got the tach cable from him. So I have a working tach now! Hopefully this is it for a while, as far as the electrics go! Time to move over to another forum now. I need to be getting a clutch kit. May try to wait it out until winter, but I definitely want to get it working right, and smooth.
