Shindengen made a lot of shunt R/R's. The only series one they currently make are on Polaris and a few others that are way more expensive for the same part. You are just going to have to decide if you want to pay the price for one or get a good reliable shunt R/R made by Shindengen. They worked for years, but by design they are harder on the stator. That's up to you, personally I think the extra money would worth it for the chance of never having to replace these parts again.

This is an electrosport one ... this one 's good right?

And this is the electrex stator. Also good?

Sorry for the stupid questions... just don't want to waste money, and when I look for polaris I only find OEM parts which are expensive, or parts for ATV's and stuff.
If you read GS stator , a link in my signature, it will explain the issues with electrix and list 4 series type r/r's . Everyone here is only familiar with the two that are being mentioned.

Just ordered the Polaris R/R from 2wheelpros. 90$ extra on shipping and tax, but hopefully it'll keep me from having to buy another one in the near future.

Also ordered a German stator from ebay. Thought I'd go for a German piece instead of the electrex.

Now I'll have to wait till it gets here.
