    where to order ignition case gasket

    cant find on z1enterprizes or parts outlaw may just be looking in the wrong spot its for a 1982 gs650gl

    Yes, you are looking in the wrong place. Try clicking though the various tabs in the parts fishe until you learn what's in each one. Once you hit Crankcase Cover you will find the gasket. After all, the ignition cover is a crankcase cover.

        I cut that gasket out of a Cheerios box. Is that bad?

          I’d think you could use a Cheerios box, chewing gum, or nothing at all. That cover isn’t keeping anything in. It’s just keeping dirt out. Am I wrong?

            Yep, it doesn't really do anything. I haven't used one for aeons.
