Nice. Been promising myself something like this.I fitted one of these to my GS1000. Has 6 fuses, LED to show if fuse has blown and a built in SPG for all the ground wires. Works great.

holy hell I had a melting of my main circuit fuse holder last week.
I tookj it apart as I have a spare to see what thing looked like inside.
Some verdigris but I think the culprit was a fuse with a sub standard thin blade.
I guess thers a reason they sell ten for a follar at a dollar store and 5 for 15$ little fuse brand. The Little fuse brabd is hard as hell to get out once inserted. The el cheapo almost gfalls out.1983 GS 550 LD

If you couple that with a single main relay, they you more or less have the eastern beaver arrangement.I fitted one of these to my GS1000. Has 6 fuses, LED to show if fuse has blown and a built in SPG for all the ground wires. Works great.

One problem you are likely to find rather quickly is that your stock fusebox is divided. The MAIN fuse has power all the time. The AUX fuse also has power all the time. The other three fuses are only live when the ignition key is on. If you maintain the stock wiring scheme, provide a replacement for the MAIN fuse and run that box 'downstream' of the ignition switch, it should work just fine.

Im needing to upgrade to a new fuse box soon as well just wondering if you could give a little more explanation to your comment? Will the Amazon fuse boxes not not work in the same manner as the OEM fuse panel?Comment
