    Washer Sizing

So we all know that when looking at part numbers for bolts the thread pitch and size is in the part number. Does the same apply for washers?

Before I run down to Ace Hardware, I want to know for sure what washer will fit for my swingarm. Does the part number, 09160-14020, tell me anything about its sizing?

I believe that means the hole in the middle will be sized to fit a 14mm fastener.

The thickness and OD vary a lot. You might need to poke around in the 9/16" stuff to find what you need.

Thanks Brian. I did do some poking around tonight and found some plastic washers that fit perfectly - much better than any of the metal ones. I'm hopefully going to put the swingarm back together tonight and back on the bike tomorrow.
