Is the clutch cover just well-polished? Almost looks chromed.1983 GS 1100 Guided Laser

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

thanks again for all the positive comments guys. All the chrome looking parts are simply polished aluminum. Most (well Ok all of them ) were pitted pretty bad, you know, you've all seen them. So I started with wet sanding (by hand) 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 grit then used auto solve and a polishing wheel on my hand drill and table top grinder. That auto solve works very well. I remember using it to take the bluing off the chrome pipes back in high school.Originally posted by 1948man View PostIs the clutch cover just well-polished? Almost looks chromed.
