Center stand & spring question

    I had the stand loose fitted and it took no effort really. Go with MRBILL these are variations of the same procedure.

      The spring has to be pretty tight to hold the center stand in place as not to let it flop. Let it flop around some and you could have problems.

      Stuff I've done to my bike 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

        FINALLY I got that stupid center stand on.

        Took me an hour but I finally got the center stand on using a crescent wrench, screw driver and cheap socket set.

        (As suggested I took both bolts off, hooked up the spring, pulled to mostly one side and pinned it with the screwdriver then hooked the opposite bolt on.

        Removed the screwdriver the replaced with other built then tightened both bolts up.
