If you would see that on a Goldwing -- Head gasket time !

I am not cure of your bikes design - but it is surly water in the oil

A GL1200 I had once was the place I learned this lesson.

    Good Luck

Thanks Carl. The water pump and oil pump on the FZ1 are housed in the same unit, only separated by two seals. If these seals leak, coolant gets in the oil. It's a known issue and where I'm looking before pulling a head. Especially since I just got the top end buttoned back up yesterday.

You think I'm funny? In what way.
also why did it settle out with a clear layer on top? More than water going on. Water being denser than petroleum.
