Tach gear housing?

Anyone know the part number for the tachometer gear housing? The piece that mounts to the engine with the tab sticking off it to bolt it on. Mine is cracked. Trying to find a replacement or fix. It's for an 82 gs1100gl Thanks

Note that there are two types of sleeves; one with the mounting tab built in , and one with a slot on the side that engages with a little plate. They are interchangeable, but of course you'll also need that little plate if you switch to the latter.

It looks like the new part available from Suzuki is the one with the built-in tab (under $20, so seems pretty reasonable). This one requires a little more care when removing; it's easy to break off the tab if it's really stuck and you're not careful. You can't use the tab to pry.

This part is nearly universal across the '70s - early '80s GS line, and was in use through the 2002 GS500, so it's fairly easy to find one that fits at a moto junkyard or fleaBay.
