hi everyone
i have a question i feel a little shy over
i bought a motor in bits ,
and trying to put it together myself and trying
to find out if you have #1 piston at highest point for tdc .
or just follow the mark on ignition shaft .

stick a rod or pencil through the sparkplug hole and follow the piston up and down as you rotate the crankshaft. Do this several times and you'll be able to tell the TDC of the crank.

i did it with a peice of wooden dowel and it works great
have timed cams as per manual .
then install motor to frame again
