I have an 82' 850GZ. Will an 81' 850GZ seat fit my 82'??

81 should be a GX.
The seats look the same but BikeBandit shows different part #s...

The 79-81 seats are hinged on one side. The 82+ seats have a lock at the back and come completely off.
These two seat styles are not interchangeable.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
