    Sizing question

    Will the round polished cam cover end caps from a 1981 GS1000L fit my 1978 GS750EC engine.

      Yup, they're the same. Assuming it's a GS1000GL. But if it were chain drive, it would have a 16V engine and rectangular cam caps.

      When in doubt, compare the part numbers using your favorite fiche site.

        not so. There never was a 1000CC 16v motor except the Katana as far as I know. All the 1000 were 8v motors, with round caps, chain or shaft drive.

            the "round cam cover end caps" are all interchangable...

            however, not all of them are polished
