Well...yes ya can, but you better have some spare change for the machine work and the time to put it all together.

Build what you want, just please don't chop up a perfect bike, rather go find one that needs the work anyway. Just my .02Last edited by Dave8338; 01-21-2009, 10:44 AM.Comment

True, true... anything is possible with a machine shop and enough time, money, and explosives.
If we're operating in the dimension where the limits of cash and ordinary materials do not apply, then I'd like to see someone take a dropped FJR1300, bin the fairing, and make a hell-monster naked tourer.
Fantastic bike, but I hate tupperware.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...
Eat more venison.
Please provide details. The GSR Hive Mind is nearly omniscient, but not yet clairvoyant.

Although this may seem to be an obviously biased opinion, the 16 valve 1100 or 1150 based bike is the way to go. Parts availability out the wazoo, 10 second 1/4 mile performance with no problem, classic styling, GSXR suspension upgrades super easy............what did I miss?Comment
