3-5 ohms on the primary side and 30k-50k on the secondary side measured with the plug caps on.

what is primary and secondary side? I might know what that means from reading the threads but am unsure.

        Thanks!

Primary side is where the wires from the ignitor plug in. Secondary is the side the plug wires come out of. You measure the secondary side by placing the probes inside the plug caps for 1 & 4 then 2 & 3.

okay so your saying secondary 1 to ground 4 to ground then 2 to ground and 3? right?

You put one probe in the plug wire for #1 and the other in the plug wire for #4. Then do the same for 2 & 3. You don't check against a ground.

Sorry, ohms. I figured that would be understood.

ohms if you have a meter that auto sets use that other wise use a setting higher then 50K ohms like 100K or something
