what is primary and secondary side? I might know what that means from reading the threads but am unsure.
Thanks!1979 GS850G

Primary side is where the wires from the ignitor plug in. Secondary is the side the plug wires come out of. You measure the secondary side by placing the probes inside the plug caps for 1 & 4 then 2 & 3.Originally posted by tas850g View Postwhat is primary and secondary side? You put one probe in the plug wire for #1 and the other in the plug wire for #4. Then do the same for 2 & 3. You don't check against a ground.
