I gots a knockin in mah motor

If my carbs were not synced up, would my engine make a distinct clacking noise because one cylinder was getting more gas than the other? the bike doesn't smoke at all so its not oil.

On the contrary -- out of sync carbs can indeed make the engine produce scary noises.

Your particular noise could be many things, but carb sync is one common cause, and the easiest to fix.

Particularly on a twin-cylinder engine, where you don't have multiple firing impluses to even things out a bit.

I'm gonna sync up my carbs, they need rebuilt anyway. I got fuel coming out of the air intake side, so somethings wrong.
