    looking for some help/ charity

i currently have a project going on of an 83 gs750e. its a lot more of a project than i thought it was going to be. i have gotten a lot done but still have a long ways to go. i need a new set of carbs for it. the stock carbs were in horrible shape. all the brass jets were chewed up and the carb bodys were cracked. also need a new airbox and air filter. or have the carbs jetted for pods. but i would much rather have the airbox. bike has a kerker 4 into 1 on it so i know i need to adjust the jetting for that. now my real question is does anyone have a set or carbs that will fit this bike. and possibly an airbox and filter? i really dont have much money to spend as i am a single father. but i have an 81 gs850g that also needs a set of carbs and some coils that i can yank parts from for you. or if you have a set of carbs, air box with filter, and a front tire for this bike i would be willing to give you the 850g. anyone want to help me out?

Post up your location in your profile so it will show. There are a number of helpful people around here that can lend a hand.

And you're not asking for charity -- you're offering a trade. Perhaps you can work out some sort of labor and parts trade in exchange for assistance. Barter is great way to get things done!

You're better off going with pods, trust me, the stock airboxes on these stink. Plus you might have a hard time finding one. I've had pods on mine since '86, and a Yosh can style pipe since '84. And it's had a set of 34mm cv flatslides from an '87 gsxr 1100 on it going on three years.

Instead of posting this here, why not in the Parts Wanted forum?
