That is a good suggestion... another easy one is did you make sure not to touch the bulb when you were changing it; everyone has done that at one point or another. I am assuming that you are refering to the bulb going and not the fuse.

And when you get all that done, please give us a clue what kind of HondaKawaYamaZuki we're guessing about.

I have a brand new ATV HD one thats going in next time it blows. Gone through 2 or is it 3 now. R/R's been replaced but I think I'm going to get one of thoses SHOw ?? whatever's.. LOL And yes whats strange is all my voltages check out correct and the ground wire things been done, etc..
I will be getting into doing a micro-inspection soon. If my memory serves me right last year when I checked it at idle and Reved RPM (according to all of the GS information) when cold it worked exactly like it should then I checked again after it was warmed up and reved it and it was over the recomended voltage. When ridding at night (I don't do alot) it would work fine then all of asudden it would brighten then dim.. Maybe thats why my shift indicator lights 3-4 are out LOL.. Seriously I will be putting some more needed wire trouble shooting in this spring.. So be nice.Comment

My 'S was doing that and I found that the R/R wasn't grounded properly so my volts were running up to about 15v . Ran a wire straight to the battery -ve and all good . Cheers , Simon .

I would guess you have a r/r problem. Check out the stator papers from the home page.Comment

Its a Suzuki gs450l, and its the light, not the fuse. I have a voltage meter, I will check it when its running, I think its the ground though that's an excellent suggestion. Thanks will update as soon as I have more info.Comment
