    Clutch Cable

This should go in parts wanted but need it ASAP. I was riding my bike during my morning commute and the clutch cable busted at the handle. Does any one have a clutch cable for a GS450? The dealer here has to order it and it would be 2-3 weeks. Was no able to find one on ebay. Used it fine with me.

    cable

did you check with bike bandit .com or cycle recyclers, also any bike shop such as cycle gear, or a salvage yard should be able to help you out, I think motion pro still makes the cables for your bike

Your dealer can get it. They're just yanking your chain about the 2-3 weeks. :?

I have a clutch cable from a 850. Look for the 5 digit Suzuki part number on yours and tell me what it is. It might be the same. If it is, yours for 10 bucks delivered.

I found one(a new one) at a motorcycle junk yard today, he has a pretty good stock of new and used parts, paid a lil too much for it I think $19.25 but didn't have to wait for it. Thanks for your help guys.

I have heard of dealer charging far more than that. I think you got a deal. Is it a good quality cable?

$19.25?! I bought an OEM cable from the Suzi store here and it was around $15. Or do the twins have a split cable? If that's the case, you got a good deal. A split cable for my old Honda CB200T ran about $65.

I was actually thinking of what a friend paid for his clutch cable on a CB400 Honda - 70.00 it think.

At least he got his bike running, that matters most
