Do you get the factory welds re-welded also, or only the throws that are not welded?

You would want to have the bearings checked and have it trued and balanced, so all of the throws would end up being welded (or re-welded).

You are right! After verification, I have realized that it's a small end crank. I will therefore pass on that purchase.
