Yeah, the tank is a '78 indented tank. It has never been lined and looks new inside. That's one of the reasons I bought it!

Got a little surprise when I took the headlight out of the housing!

I guess it could have been worse. At least they had moved on!

Anyone know if these are the headlight mounts for a 1150? This thing has a bigger than stock headlight, but I have no idea what bike it is from.

It will probably be on Fleabay once I figure out what I have!

Starting to look a little better with a stock front fender and a chrome speedo cover!

There is a chance I have some turn signals (or at least the plastic lenses) and a center stand for you… I may also have some headlight brackets.
I think the 1100 was the one that used the 9” light.

My 1100E brackets are similar in design to the 1000. I can't remember if my 1150E had brackets just like those or not. I think the signal light mounting was like that though. I just bought an 8 inch headlight for my other 1000 I'm going to try. Ha. ha. I'll have the complete 1000 headlight but they're easy to find anyway, I'm going to modify the 1000 brackets to fit the 8 inch headlight on mine.

I'm pretty certain they are 1150e (and possibly the late 750e). The 1150s had those big goofy indicators and the base would fit in that little recess in the side... I am a bit confused at why the recess points up. I think they may be flipped or on the wrong side.

Okay: I blew up this photo of my 1150E and it looks like the brackets are 1150E. (Downstroke is now I want another one). 1150E.jpg

Thanks guys! They are probably installed wrong, lots of things on this bike are like that!

Good to know what headlight I have for whenever when it goes on Ebay!
