I had the welder on the lowest setting and I was still burning holes here and there. I like it, sounds better than before too.

now you cant tell us it sounds good without a video clip of her running.

btw the best way i found to weld pipes is brazing with the oxy/acet torch. did a set on my quad with a cl360 motor in it like that and never had an issue.

i never cleaned it up and i used fence post (burning/welding galvinized is never a good idea, unless yer in a well ventalated area). but it isnt a show quad, just a buggy for rippin around on

I agree about TIG for doing pipes but I've also done them with my MIG, just have to be carefull. Burning/welding galvanized pipe can be deadly, not just stinky. When that zinc burns off it's putting out fumes that will kill you if exposed too long, ventilation or not.

Ya i welded on galvanized. And it will make you sick! And It's a bitch to get penetration without burn through. My welds looked like chicken ****!LOL Until i built up enough material to run a nice bead.Or do a lot of tacks around the pipe

use meratic acid to gas out the galvanizing and weld like regular pipe

                    2 questions

-what jet kit should I run?

-what weight and type oil do I use?

Bud i dont really know what the difference is.When i posted the number for the kit i could of sworn there was only one kit for your bike. The easiest way to find out is by emailing Dynojet. There very helpful and will answer any questions that pop up.

took a beating today, I have a wicked cold and sore throat, but! I did wrap my pipes and ride the bike up and down my street. definite vacuum leak in one or both o-rings.
sounds good, the video clip is with the choke when we first started it, so its idling a little high.
