I told him & he is happy about getting more than he thought. I was afraid he might not want to bore his upper case half but he was good with it since he has to have it apart to do the crank anyway. Believe me, I got nervous before I called him because it's already paid for! Ray.

Went up to Kris V's house and did a jaunt on his ZX14. What a machine. I had it up to 130 and it felt stable as hell and I felt like I could of gone 200.
Took some pics of his turbo bike engine cases. He had to split them to have the crank redone. Too much play in the rods. Stan the Man is on the job. Notice the APE HD case studs and the dish turbo pistons.
Another picture to see is my old cam chain compared to a used HD cam chain. Do you think this could cause timing issues?
Also look at the wear on a cam chain guide new compared to a three or four seasons worth.
Also some pics of my APE studs, cam chain and guide.

very cool. to the guys who do their own motor work, awesome hope to reach that level of maintenance some day, but today I don't think I could replace the cam chain guide with my bike in my fraternity house.

I'm curious as to how well that paint holds up, it looks good.

So i see a transtar target in the garage, and it looks like there MAY be a Coast Guard base decal on the Ford. Coastie truck by chance?

It's an enamel based paint made for cylinders and cases so it should hold up. It's held up on Kris's drag bikes.
Kris works on Jets. He can fill in the blanks if he chooses to.
