Project 1100 Bandit/Gsxr conv

What year GSXR1100 forks are suitable? Im looking at some 1990 GSXR11 forks complete with front wheel, disc's and calipers etc. Any reason why you used Bandit wheels and not GSXR wheels?

Seems easy to get the whole front end and bolt it in..

I've done an upgrade with a GSXR 1100 K ( 1989) fork and it fits like a glove.
Two concerns however:
1) you need to build new lock stops on the lower T
2) you loose ground clearance.

91-95 1100 front ends work best, I bought the Bandit wheels with the rear end as a package.

Well, I know this has been a marathon build but I finally have some time and space to work on my project. Just leased a corner commercial two stall space that I think will work out perfect.

I have an 83 engine ready to mount into this thing along with a nice VH pipe. Working on getting the clocks and the rear sets mounted ..
