looking good though Pete, how do you find the heat from the exhaust on your leg?
I was wondering the same thing. It must get pretty warm on left side! I'm glad to see a heat deflector attached- which must help a lot, at least to prevent leg burns...

Sheeesh 2311 replies (2312 after this one) and 39,253 views and he's still not happy

I still haven't got good enough "complete" photos to plaster all over the forum yet (never posted in the custom GS or twin photos thread) so these will have to make do for Mr Impatient in the meantime

Cheers Greg! Pretty happy with it overall. Even got to use it to strap the wet weather gear to on the way home today, nice to have the option.

Oh, for anyone who's keen, the Ducati Cucciolo thread has started but you'll need to venture into off-topic...

Well, aside from getting some final flashy pic's when she's had a big bath, this afternoon's work officially makes her finished.

That's it, no more to do except ride, service, and tune

You can see it's a little off-centre in the third pic, but it's close enough for me and should do what it needs to do.

    Haha cool, well done!

ChicagoRob figured that out a while back and I filed the info away 'til I got my Acewell then I did the same.

Don't forget the oil seal which is on the same part of the fiche, for an '83 GS1100E I think. 26451-45000.

Also used on a bunch of other models...

Where did you find that plug? I have looked everywhere for one, ended up making my own.
