Glad to hear you got it all protected Stan And yes, I remember the grumpy granny episode... don't wanna ruffle those feathers again! Probably some silly old senile twit who's just jealous because he never got a chance to accomplish what you are...

A stand definitely does help keep it upright too

Did you find out it was a "Granny"... I assumed it was some cantankerous old Man who was stirring to poop in the neighborhood. Like Pete said, jealous you are doing what he never did...

Thanks man, nah, caretaker of the complex wouldn't tell me, probably scared I will return the favour and be a good neighbor by giving his car a nice wash....with a gallon of brake fluid.
Or chuck a couple disposable lighters down his exhaust.

I knew about the brake fluid but the disposable lighters up the tailpipe is a new one on me...

I know just who I'm gonna try that on to see what happens

Well with all my international shopping as well as some local shopping although I good never to be beaten deals on a lot of the international stuff, I have pretty much maxed out the skim off the grocery money, why is there always so much month left at the end of the money??????
Anyway, work goes on, there is plenty to do that requires elbow grease as opposed to money, so this will be the direction of the build while the wallet comes up for air.
Got the polishing of the rear wheel done and taped and ready for paint, had a wee bit left over from the front wheel, so used that up, and actually got one full side done.

Polished (sorry bad light so not to clear.

                  Taped and painted....well, half anyway.

Still quite a bit to be spent before she can grace the back end of the drive shaft, so thanks to Pete's paint thread, direction took a wild turn.
Started sanding and preping for paint.

                  Tail stripped for sanding

Nah Pete, not going to paint yet, but I guess no harm in getting the stuff sanded and ready for paint in the mean time, what did you say......every little thing done, is a step forward.
At least when it comes time to paint, it won't be spoilt by having to do all the sanding.

Very true Stan! At least you don't have a bare fibreglass tail piece you have to prep... that thing is driving me insane! Why did I go and have to make that? Sheesh...

Well, you can't have it all your own way now, you been having so much fun with the rest of the bike, gotta work up a sweat at some stage.
next rebuild, I will trade you, your pink bum for two gs wheels, you do my sanding, I do yours.........................................not sure that came out right

Errr... you been talking to Leigh too much

Hahahaha but yeah, time for the horrid prep for paint stuff. This is the bit I hate, but I know if I do it well, the end result should be well worth it

Me thinks the Auzzie worries far too much, just relax and calm down to a panic, it is all going to be fine, your paint is going to turn out super nice and you are going to be mega stoked with yourself, now stop worrying about nothing and go and have a few cold ones......
