Also, I can't remember the 750ES, I don't think it is the same though, it has plain black if I remember correctly, but the G's, and I think the other litre bikes '80 - '81 actually had a very fine metal flake in the swiches, which you could see if you look carefully, they were not just flat black, the Cosmic Black has the same metal flake.
How it will hold up??? I have no idea, we shall see, but I doubt it will be an issue, it certainly won't chip off when tightening up he pinch bolts.
As for brake fluid, I am afraid there is no paint that will stand up to it, no matter what anyone tells you, the only thing is anodizing or powder coating.
I still have my calipers and master cylinders to do, and I am not sure what I am going to do yet, if budget allows, when I get around to them, probably black anodizing, otherwise a good 2K paint, and just be very careful during assembly and bleeding, I guess the trick is to keep the brake fluid inside the system, after all.
