Looks like a washer is missing on that one screw with the head pointing at us. Check it FC and get a new one if need be.

Nope, this gas tank came from a 1979 Suzuki GS400.

Here's a little comparison. These are old pics by the way.

The stock 1980 Suzuki GS450L gas tank.

And the current 1979 Suzuki GS400 gas tank.

Basically, it's exactly as it sounds. It's a spot that's higher up than the rest of the tank and not flush. So if you run your hand over the gas tank, you will feel high spots.

    Here's a picture.

Can you see the two yellow spots? One on the side and one on the top. That's the bondo underneath the primer. That happened because of these high spots. It's an uneven surface so while sanding, it went through the primer.

Hope that made sense. What's up? You gonna do your tank or something?

Bugger about the petcock, but is that just the washers maybe?
I think it's just the wrong screw. You know how the petcock screws have an insert for a Philips screwdriver right? Yeah... The screw that's leaking doesn't have that while the other screw does and it's not leaking. I need to find that screw!

I was hoping for a road test tomorrow but I won't take the chances with a leaky petcock.
