    I love this bike.

I want to go all the way back to your first build. how long did it take you to polish the aluminum on the bike? Did you do it by hand or use a wheel?

Tim Tom, I know that you love a cafe bike where you can see right through the frame

It would also make the bike look lighter and cooler .
Whoo hooo! I've been quietly waiting for you to realize this

I cant wait to see what you do with it!

By all reports those A123 cells are pretty amazing and you won't have to worry about a new battery for a while. They use those to power electric bikes and things as well apparently...

I didn't even know this stuff exists!

I was really thinking about putting a GS400/425 engine in my frame but it's pretty hard to find... If I do find one, I will.

VERY interesting... But how many times can you crank the bike before the battery dies? How long will they last until you have to replace them?

Well, my bike starts right up after .1 second of pushing the starter button so I should be fine

I will get it this summer.

Save space and less weight. Thanks Pete!

I planned on making a small 1.5" X 7" metal box with the top open for under the seat. Then get a smaller AGM battery to go under the seat hump. Know what I'm saying?

The starter solenoid will be in front near the gas tank so that I won't have to do anything with the starter wire. I will only have to make a longer positive battery cable.

The R/R will be in the rear so that the ground wire can reach the battery's negative terminal.

But again, it's another project for later as, right now, my igniter is on the other side of the electronics plate . Hey, it works!

I was going to keep them since I was too lazy to move the electronics. But now that my igniter won't fit because of the huge R/R, I'll have to do it now .
