Actually, $80 is what it costs to ship all of these parts using UPS.

I know because I weighed my 1100E bodywork in the hopes of getting it painted and I got quoted between $80-$90 to ship within the US.

Shipping gouger, it'll sell at $80 or so with the jackass charging $82 for shipping.

Yeah, I'll let it go. Love the color on it though.

I guess I'll just focus on the electrical problem like I should be which I haven't even looked at yet...
Yes! Do this... by the sounds of it you'll be wanting this as your daily driver for the new job soon, so what cash you have for now you should be putting aside to get it running safely so you can reliably get to work and back each day.

I would suggest calling your new boss on the first day and telling him you'll be late because the bike broke down won't be the best move for your career...

FC...that body work may be better than yours, but it's not good...

Let it go, get the bike running good and then worry about cosmetics...
Keep your eye out and before next spring you will find a nice set of body panels....
They come up now and then...

Shipping a bent wheel sounds like a losing proposition.
80 bucks is insane on the shipping as well. He is gouging.
I had a tanked shipped from FLA to Canada for 50 USD.

Shipping is between $80-$90. My max bid is probably $100 right now. But you really don't have to if that's what your thinking.

The seller said that he'd include GSXR triples and a bent front wheel if I win. Interesting proposal but...

FC the condition of your bodywork looks fine to me, and that dent will be a bugger to get out where it is...

If you're looking for an alternative set, be patient and wait for a better set to come along, at least that's what I'd do given yours is more than useable for the moment.

I don't mind the dent. The side cover looks to be undamaged from the fall. If you have seen my bodywork in person, then you know that it's ugly. Just about anything is an upgrade.

Now that's the thing. I don't have enough money right now. The seller will require immediate payment. I already asked if he could hold it for a week but he doesn't want to take that risk. I understand though...
